This request is for an 18 year old boy, Jestin, who is battling cancer for the second time. He was first diagnosed with blood cancer in December 2018 and underwent five cycles of chemotherapy sessions subsequently.
After the initial cure of the disease, he was a class topper and aspired to become an actor. But unfortunately, in December 2019, his cancer came back to haunt him again and today he looks lifeless and tired. He used to be the best cricket player in his class, but today he can barely stand on his feet. He underwent five cycles of soul-crushing chemotherapy sessions. He lost all his hair and he lost his smile.
His family had to sell all their valuables to fund his cancer treatment. His mother sold all her jewelry, and his father, who is a daily wage laborer took high-interest loans from people. They paid Lakhs of rupees for his treatment.
The doctors say Jestin can be fully cured if he undergoes an urgent bone marrow transplant but the treatment will cost about $50,000 USD. The family can’t afford such an expensive treatment.
